InfluStory Privacy Policy

Official Privacy Policy & Data Deletion Instructions

This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data for the InfluStory website and SaaS platform (https://influstory.com).

1. Data Controller

The controller of your personal data is Robert Pietrzak, operating as ROBERT PIETRZAK ENIAC. For any inquiries regarding data protection and privacy, please contact: influstoryhelpdesk@outlook.com.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Email address, user name, profile avatar (received via Google/Meta OAuth during account registration) and encrypted password.
  • Third-Party Platform OAuth Tokens: Encrypted access tokens and user identifiers for connected social media accounts (TikTok, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Threads) strictly to authorize publishing on your behalf. All tokens are encrypted using AES-256.
  • User-Generated Content: Video and image files uploaded by users, AI generation prompts, and captions prepared for publication.
  • Transactional Data: Payment transaction history (processed securely by Stripe / Google Play Billing; we do not store full credit card numbers).

verified_user 3. TikTok Platform Data Usage and Protection

When you connect your TikTok account to InfluStory, we request access through the official TikTok API for the following scopes:

  • user.info.basic: To display your connected TikTok username and avatar within your InfluStory settings.
  • video.upload & video.publish: To upload and publish video content directly to your TikTok account upon your explicit instruction.

How TikTok Data is Used and Protected:

  • We use TikTok platform data exclusively to deliver social media publishing and account connection features requested by you.
  • We do not sell, rent, or monetize TikTok user data or transfer it to advertising networks or data brokers.
  • Access tokens are encrypted at rest with industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

4. User Data Deletion Instructions (TikTok & All Platforms)

You have full control over your data and can delete or disconnect your accounts at any time:

  1. Disconnecting from InfluStory: Navigate to Account Settings and click "Rozłącz / Disconnect" next to your TikTok account. Your access token is immediately and permanently deleted from our database.
  2. Revoking Access via TikTok: Open the TikTok App > Profile > Settings and Privacy > Security > Manage App Permissions > Select InfluStory > Tap Remove Access.
  3. Complete Data Erasure Request: To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, send an email to influstoryhelpdesk@outlook.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". All personal data will be permanently wiped within 48 hours.

5. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing (GDPR)

We process your data under the following legal bases pursuant to Article 6(1) of the GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract (delivering the InfluStory SaaS features, publishing content, and managing accounts).
  • Compliance with legal obligations (accounting, tax records).
  • Legitimate interest (ensuring platform security, fraud prevention, and technical stability).

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate the service:

  • Supabase Inc. – Secure database and authentication hosting.
  • OpenAI L.L.C. – AI text and image generation (user prompts without personal identifiers).
  • Stripe Inc. – Secure payment gateway.
  • TikTok, Meta, Google – Official APIs for user-directed social media publishing.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, restrict, transfer, or delete your personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (UODO in Poland).
